Health-Related Quality of Life Assessment in Children with Cancer Using Pediatric Quality of Life InventoryTM in Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin

Aims: Cancer in children can adversely affect their quality of life. Evaluation health related life (HRQoL) during the process treatments is important for recognition acute dysfunction to therapy and disease. The aims this study was assess HRQoL cancer with using Pediatric Quality Life InventoryTM (PedsQLTM) influence type dan duration treatment life.
 Methodology: This cross-sectional conducted at age 2-18 years pediatric patient Children Haematology Oncology’s Ward Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin from November Desember 2022. Subject parents were assessed PedsQLTM Generic Core Scales Module, which consist parent-report and/ or child-report.
 Results: A total number 59 participated study, mean 8.4 old, 38 (64.41%) male. Non solid tumor represented 62.5% sample, highest percentage leukemia (62.71%). Parent had reports about having lower on assessment than (p< 0.05). more problem procedural anxiety non-solid tumor, 1 year significantly better who less pain hurt domain 0.05).
 Conclusion: have low based parent reports, especially school function. anxiety, also shorter hurt. Special care psychosocial support needed improve treatment.
